Inessa Avedikian joined our team in March 2022 as the Corporate Services Manager.

Before joining Andersen in Armenia, Inessa dedicated over 20 years to internal audit with a focus on banking. She served in one of the largest banks in Armenia as the Deputy Head of the Internal Audit Department for nine years.

Inessa has solid experience and practice in applying internal audit standards, procedures, and techniques in performing engagements, identifying the indicators of fraud, key risks, and controls, and advising the management, audit committee, and the board.

Inessa also is the CEO of the Armenian Institute of Directors (AIoD), an organization promoting the professionalism of directors in Armenia and respect for the role of directors, supporting directors in adding value to their organizations with a particular focus upon improving the effectiveness of boards of directors and board committees, protecting the rights of directors at a policy level, and improving effective corporate governance practices.

She also has played an active role on the Board of the Armenian Institute of Internal Auditors since 2013.

Her research interests are banking review, financial markets, and institutions, risks in financial institutions, risk management, leadership, management and negotiations, and HR management.
